As an Associate, you will be responsible for assessing the eligibility of foreign nationals or employees of foreign companies for non-immigration and immigrant visa status in Canada, as well as support the firm’s client immigration program applications and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, or another comparable Law Society in Canada, and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Canadian corporate and business immigration. Terrific writing skills are necessary in this role as you will be drafting documents such as opinion letters and legal submissions. A keen interest in technology will also be seen as an asset.
