Although this person would not need to bring a book of business, they should have a history of successfully servicing and developing clients.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a general corporate practice including M&A, reorganizations and general corporate and commercial matters, gained from a well-respected firm. Excellent drafting and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently, while being a ‘team player’. Leadership skills will also be of interest as will the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
